I noticed that MultiGrain Raisin Spice oatmeal contains 18 grams of sugar, while the Flax Plus oatmeal only contains 10 grams of sugar. Why is there an additional 8 grams of sugar in the MultiGrain Raisin Spice oatmeal? Does this additional 8 grams come from the Organic Evaporated Cane Juice or from other ingredients?

Hi Abby and thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. This is a great question and I can totallly see why you’d ask this, as this is something I’d probably ask too. The extra sugar content in this oatmeal is mostly due to the naturally occurring sugar in the raisins. Take care, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

This is one of the best instant oatmeal flavors I have ever had. However, I can no longer find it. I honestly thought you had discontinued it. Any thoughts as to where I can track it down (especially because my two Whole Foods stores seem to no longer stock it, for reasons I don’t know)? Thanks!

I just tried the mulitgrain raisin spice today and it’s very nice! I like how just a bit of the cinnamon lingers after I’m finished. A nice alternative to Quaker with much less sodium! It was a little mushy, but I was thinking I added too much water. I look forward to trying some of your other flavours.

Did you change the ingredients in the multigrain raisin spice oatmeal? I’ve been enjoying this oatmeal every morning for years, but the box I have now tastes different. It used to be chewy, but now has an unpleasant soft, gluey texture.

Thanks for your feedback! If you like our Flax Plus cold cereals, then you should give our Flax Plus instant hot oatmeal a try - it has 8g less sugar http://www.naturespath.com/products/hot%20cereals?tid=All&brand=All&nutr…. Another option is to add your own spices and fruit to our original organic hot oatmeal! Take care, Kyla, Brand Ambassador, Gorilla Munch Addict
